Special Guided Tour: The Monastery Garden and its History

In the newly designed monastery garden, the structures of the Baroque garden are still recognizable and discernible. The strictly symmetrical path system has been restored; from the central fountain of the Baroque fountain complex, a fountain once again rises; the nymphaeum located on the east wall is also accessible again and bears witness to the former Baroque splendor of this garden complex. The guided tour through this garden traces the eventful history of this complex – from its Baroque presentation to its function as a “kitchen garden”, unused fallow land, and finally to the newly created ecologically valuable
meadows with their blossoms and buzzing.

Tickets available in the monastery shop. The Styria Card is not valid for special tours. No registration required. Meeting point: 2 PM in front of the monastery shop.
