HULDIGUNGSSAAL (HALL OF HOMAGE)
The Huldigungssaal is one of the most magnificent rooms in the monastery complex. Abbots once paid homage in this room; today, the room can be rented for events. The room’s height (11 meters) and the wall and ceiling frescoes by Josef Amonte are unique.
STEINERNER SAAL (STONE HALL)
Elaborately marbled walls, imposing stucco work, and a ceiling with paintings by Josef Amonte distinguish the hall. Due to its size, it is suitable for concerts and celebrations; a preparation room for catering is located next to the Steinerner Saal.
WEISSER SAAL (WHITE HALL)
The “Weiße Saal” offers state-of-the-art technology and historical flair. With 126 square meters of space, the room is suitable for seminars, conferences, conventions, or presentations, for example.
CHINESISCHES ZIMMER (CHINESE ROOM)
A smaller room that holds surprises: The Chinese Room was designed with antique Asian paintings and provides an exotic flair in the historical monastery. It is suitable for workshops, seminars, and fireside chats and is located next to the Weiße Saal.
SOMMERREFEKTORIUM (SUMMER REFECTORY)
The Sommerrefektorium, with paintings by Josef Adam Mölk, was once the monks’ dining hall. Today, the Sommerrefektorium – also in combination with the garden – can be rented.
CELLARIUM
Once the abbot’s wine cellar, the Cellarium in simple Gothic style is the ideal place for wine tastings, exhibitions, and celebrations.
BASILIKA (BASILICA)
The Basilica of Stift Rein is the second largest church in Styria and, with its ceiling frescoes, is one of the most impressive places. In addition to weddings and church events, the Basilica is also open for selected concerts.
