Around the monas­tery grounds, our three inns offer hea­ven­ly dis­hes and spe­cial­ties in various ways.

STIFTSTAVERNE

Our Stifts­ta­ver­ne is loca­ted in front of the monas­tery gates, a few steps from the monas­tery its­elf. The inn is open dai­ly and offers spe­cial menus for tra­vel and pil­grimage groups – even out­side ope­ning hours. Advan­ce boo­king is reques­ted.

JUDENDORF

The tra­di­tio­nal Kir­chen­wirt Maria Stra­ßen­gel has been open again sin­ce Janu­ary 2026.

The inn com­bi­nes clas­sic tavern charm with modern accents: a cozy style fea­turing his­to­ri­cal fur­ni­tu­re.

It is open from Wed­nes­day to Satur­day, and on Sun­days from as ear­ly as 8 AM for church­goers.

MÜHLBACHERHÜTTE

Our Mühl­ba­cher­hüt­te can be rea­ched on foot or by bicy­cle and offers a won­derful pan­o­r­amic view over the regi­on (distance from Stift Rein: approx. 8 km).
