Nati­vi­ty Sce­ne Exhi­bi­ti­on 2024

This year, we are once again plea­sed to invi­te you to the Nati­vi­ty Sce­ne exhi­bi­ti­on in the Cel­la­ri­um. On Novem­ber 29, Abbot Phil­ipp, tog­e­ther with Dr. Bernd May­er, ope­ned this year’s exhi­bi­ti­on, accom­pa­nied by musi­cal enter­tain­ment and a small Advent refresh­ment. Appro­xi­m­ate­ly 30 nati­vi­ty sce­nes from the coll­ec­tion of Dr. Bernd May­er from Birgl­hof in Pas­sail and from the “Krip­pen­freun­de Kai­ser­wald” asso­cia­ti­on in Wund­schuh are on dis­play. Ran­ging from the year 1480 to 2023, each nati­vi­ty sce­ne tells its own uni­que sto­ry. The varie­ty of mate­ri­als ran­ges from deli­ca­te paper to exqui­si­te Mura­no glass.
The exhi­bi­ti­on is open on Advent weekends and public holi­days from 10 AM to 4 PM, and for groups of 15 peo­p­le out­side the­se hours by pri­or arran­ge­ment. Admis­si­on is free; we app­re­cia­te your vol­un­t­a­ry sup­port.
